    • The fireplace was well-kept and the heaters functioned well. The place was generally pretty clean and well-organized with the small exception of a slightly mildewed shower curtain. Blankets were warm and clean.
    • They have the most beautiful spot on the river. It is so peaceful and serene. I would like to be able to go up there once a month, just to soothe my soul. Sue is a friendly and caring owner and this has become my go-to vacation spot.
    • Small; intimate, home-like, had everything that was needed.
    • The view was gorgeous everyone enjoyed that very much
    • The cottage was right on the river and the water out of the tap was great.

    Reviews:

    • beautiful property and interiors. stacked w fun games. loved the fireplace. being next door to the jacuzzi. kitchen full of cooking supplies.
    • Loved the location. Parking was easy. Close to activities.
    • Adorable cottage number five, named Solitude. Super friendly staff, great decorations, everything you need for a comfy cabins stay. Pots pans coffee maker, lots of towels, Note: bring your own shampoo and hair dryer ( this can be a problem when it’s freezing cold outside), and kitchen is not stocked with any food….Bring your own salt pepper coffee sugar oil etc. for cooking, and round coffee filters for the coffee pot.. they have a nice outdoor Jacuzzi on site that we enjoyed. We woke up to a bunch of snow and it was an absolute winter wonderland. Once again staff was great at clearing the snow and very helpful. About a 2 mile drive to town, so you’re kind of out in the woods, but that is what makes it so charming. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
    • The location is great. The cabins are very nice indide and outside
    • The staff was amazing! Max and George were so accomodating and so informed on the local events, restaurants, and shopping. We kept pretty busy, but couldn’t wait to get back to our cozy cabin when the day was done. We had a front porch off of the cabin and a private deck that backed up to a mountain & the world famous hiking trail. We were 3 miles from Rocky Mountain Natl Park. There were chipmunks galore & we even saw a coyote behind the deck. Really amazing experience overall!

    Reviews:

    • The hotel has a homey-feel to it and the staff was very kind and helpful. Anne, at the front desk, was knowledgeable of the area and had helpful recommendations for where to eat.
    • This was our second time at The Crags Lodge and it has become our favorite place to stay in town!! its a beautiful place thats very comfortable and cozy, and the staff far exceded our expectations! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel at home!
    • The lodge is a cute old place. The staff was great. The view, although filtered through the trees, was terrific. The restaurant was pretty good, too. I wouldn’t call it a “destination” resort, but it suited our needs okay.
    • Staff was incredibly helpful and rushed to get our room ready early when we arrived as members of a wedding party (got us in 1.5 hours early). Perfect cleanliness, shower very comfortable. Nice pool and hot tub at site. Beautiful views but not highlighted as well as they could have been from our room (windows were small… but it’s an old building!). Nice kitchen facilities in our room with small living area separated from the bathroom and our bedroom.
    • Clean comfortable room, quiet, good shower, good bed although not king sized.
