Price is comparable to in town accommodations staying here is a great addition to your visit to the area.
- Awesome view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast.
- First of all it was a lovely drive up into the mountains to get to Foxtrot. Our room, breakfast, and public areas were absolutely perfect. After many stays in B&Bs through out the country this has become one of our very favorites.
- The chalet was charming, the views magnificent. The hosts, Bob and Shirley, were warm and gracious.

- The views, ambiance, and service were absolutely amazing! Very peaceful and quiet. It was just what we needed.
- The breakfast that was included was awesome. The staff fantastic.
- This place is magical! I arrived on a Saturday evening in June, coming through Gatlinburg, where it was a kind of carnival with crowds of people… It was so pleasant to arrive at this serene and quiet Inn! From the setting (situated quietly in the woods) over the very friendly and helpful staff, the furnishing of the cottages and the main house to the meals served, everything exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was included and the breakfast menu changing daily is splendid. I highly recommend having dinner at the Inn, which is celebrated in a very traditional fashion – and the dinner menus are marvelous! In the surroundings one can find many quiet and lonelier parts of the Smokies, e.g. near Cosby, but other attractions (as Clingmans Dome) are close, too. The Inn thus provides an excellent starting point for exploring the beauties of the Smokies. I hope I can return very soon!
- Very relaxing! A place that feels like home away from home.
- The food was wonderful. I always look forward to visiting the Buckhorn.

- I liked that the furniture throughout was not uptight antique furniture that you find at other bed and breakfast places. It’s hard to relax in furniture like that. Blue Mtn Mist had modern yet comfortable furniture all over the place, so you could relax in any common room you were in. It felt like home away from home. Breakfast was awesome and the cottage was just perfect.
- Great location for those looking for rest and relaxation
- The epitomy of a Bed and Breakfast. A wonderful location and a well kept Inn.
- Everything! My favorite room is the upstairs sitting room. So beautiful 😊
- Everything was wonderful…..We had never stayed at a B&B before and it was a great experience…It is conveniently located so that you can get anyone were you want to go within minutes….The food was excellent (especially the deserts and breakfast biscuits and fritters)…I would recommend this B & B to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet relaxing get away but yet still wants to be able to see the sights and go shopping…..
