- Gina was a fantastic host! She paid attention to every detail of our trip. It was our one year wedding anniversary and she had fresh flowers in our room, gave us both a glass of wine on arrival, and even made us dinner reservations in town. The bed was SO comfortable and we especially enjoyed the claw foot tub. She is a FANTASTIC cook. Everything was delicious from the coffee to heart shaped scones. Her dog Huck was so sweet and we felt right at home. We went skiing at Schweitzer Mountain Resort which was just a short 10-minute drive away. - This home is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable , the bathroom was huge with a claw tub and separate walk-in shower. The large sitting area was nice and the spacious outside deck was lovely .The full breakfast was excellent. Gina was a fantastic hostess and we would love to return here soon.
- We stayed at the Huckleberry Inn for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable and lovely. The countryside setting was perfect. Gina was a wonderful host. She suggested things to see and made reservations for us for dinner and a lake tour. Both breakfasts were a pleasure for the palate: farm fresh ingredients, beautifully plated, and delicious.
- Gina, besides being a delightful woman and cheerful conversationalist, also happens to be a master chef who uses (literally) farm fresh eggs and bacon. The blueberries and blackberries were picked by Gina herself. The croissant French toast would have stood proudly on its own, but it had plenty of competition. Eggs Benedict was made to order and delicious. Room and bath were squeaky clean. We had a happy stay, and loved the town as well.
