- From the moment we were greeted by the mad barman who had spent time in Australia to our reluctant departure the following morning we had a terrific time. Sitting out on the terrace under the plane trees enjoying a Floc de Gascogne as the sun cooled, having a delicious dinner under the stars and climbing into a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep without having to worry about parking or noise was delightful. Just 5 kms from Labastide d’Armagnac and the many producers of the local spirit which is why we were there.

- The grounds are fabulous but the hotel needs updating.
- The property was very easy to find, very clean, host very genial and accommodating. If you are looking for pristine, run of the mill accommodation, do not go – if, however, you would prefer to ask chef to cook what he wants rather than following the menu and are open to experiencing ‘France’ then I would absolutely recommend you visit. It was a very welcome haven at the end of what had been a very emotional week for us.
