- It was nice and close to the metro station and the neighborhood was pleasant. I also liked that they sent me everything I needed in my confirmation email.
- I liked the neighborhood. It had character. It is across the street from an elementary school. A regular neighborhood, comfortable accommodations, all in all excellent
- The older building has some character and warmth which was a plus. Great location close to some great restaurants, bars, and convenient for traveling around DC. Full kitchen was a perk though we didn’t partake due to work constraints. Pet Friendly with a fee.
- Location and access to a kitchen were the reasons we selected the inn.
- The property is on a residential block and is really a home converted into an inn. It is more like a brownstone. Olivia was very sweet. Since we were 4 we were given the loft which is a walk up. You have access to the entire house but we really only used our room. There is a restaurant/bar on the corner and a large selection of stores and fast food places are about a 2 block walk. For finer dining you do have to go a little further. We were lucky and found parking directly in front of the inn. To see the sights one is better off taking a bus or the metro which is where the shops and restaurants are also a 2 block walk. Buses are $2. and children are free. On our last day we drove to the Capital and were able to find parking directly in front of the lawn. Metered parking. Warning!!! all meters with red caps are for handicapped. Luckily someone told me.

- The convenient location, the friendly desk staff, the price, the charming decor and building.
- Easy to find and it was convenient that there was a microwave in the lobby.
- It’s good value for money and much cheaper than the venue for my meetings
- Small rooms, dark and dingy looking on the inside. The carpets could use a good cleaning and don’t get me started on the bathroom. Someone who obviously was not a professional attempted to do repairs in the bathroom. The repairs where unfinished and patchy
- Great place, staff were very nice. Coffee and tea available all the time. Luggage storage so you don’t have to worry about luggage if you arrive in DC early or leave late

- The only thing I can say that I liked is that it was a beautiful hotel once I got in.
The room service food was very nice.
Housekeeping was amazing
Very Comfortable bed
- It’s a beautiful hotel. Good location. The price was right.
- I only stayed at the hotel for one night, but it was a great stay. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a massage at the spa, which was small and simple but it did the trick. I think it’s ridiculous that you have to pay for wifi when you’re already paying so much for a room – how is free wifi not standard at these nice hotels by now? Besides that, no major complaints. All in all a beautiful old hotel in a fantastic location.
- It was close to the public transportation. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and good.

This will be where we stay whenever visiting the DC area. We just loved it!
Having stayed here 8 years ago, our expectations were pretty high. Unfortunately, the hotel got old without any refurbishment and it shows. But, the exterior still looks incredibly well, as well as most of the common spaces. The rooms are fine, but slightly worn out.

His car broke down and we were all tired and hungry and didn’t want to have to try and drive him back late in the evening. The from seal was so amazing, even after telling me that they had run out of cots, I received a knock on the door from head of maintenance with a cot and blankets! Now that’s what you call going above and beyond! Thanks so much for the amazing hospitality… I will definitely stay again!

Room and property was clean
Good room rate
- The room is comfortable, we had our own bathroom which was clean. Bed is also comfy. To be honest, for a 2 star hotel, nothing surprising. Everything was OK, but not great.
- Good location, not a bad walk to nice places around the hotel
- The hotel is in a beautiful residential area, the neighborhood in which former President Obama lives. Yet it’s close to a Metro stop. And, if you like to walk, as I do, you can get to the White House or the National Mall with no problem. The nightly rate is extremely reasonable. I also thought that the free breakfast was a nice touch.
- Every worker was doing his or her job like they suppose to do. No complaints at all. I will be coming back in Febuary.
