    Reviews:

    • On the Camino way and very good value for money..Had laundry facilities and drying area which was a huge bonus..
    • It was smaller room but still big enough to fit everything in. They used nice colours to make it look cozy and comfortable. We felt there so good.
    • Convenient location on the outskirts of Padron for walking the Camino Portugese. We had a private twin room which overlooked the front of the building which was noisy until 12.
    • Just a few steps from the Camino, and about 5 minutes walk to the centre so a great location. Brilliant value. We had a private room. The previous guest had gone off with the key so we had to wait quite a while to check in, but the staff couldn’t have done more. The hostel was basic but had everything needed.
    • It’s the first one you arrive to when walking El Camino de Santiago. It has a hair dryer.

    • This was our first real pilgrim hostel on our walk on the Camino portuges. The dormitory was perfect for us. We were 16 people and so left only two beds free. A pilgrim from England and another from Australia took these beds. So it was easy for us , to get in contact with them. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast offered a typical spanish start for the day. The albergue is right in the city centre, opposite of the famous St. James church of Padron. The bar on the groundfloor was very nice. We sat ourside and had a scenic view to the church and over the square. We surely come again, if we make this trip another time.

    Reviews:

    • The hostel is located in a very good place, within walking distance to the city center. The staff were super helpful, making our stay very comfortable. They gave us extra blankets 😉 (and they have single use bed sheets included in the price)
    • We came on our honeymoon after doing about 200 km of the Camino De Santiago trail and we asked for adjacent beds for me and my wife. The stuff waited for us with an apgraded lodging, candy and congratulations sign on the beds. They where very sweet throughout the stay and where very helpful with tip on where to eat and what to do in the city.
    • Private space for each other, comfortable bed and good boxes for our staff
    • A warm welcome and a tour of the facilities greet you on arrival. Privacy great for a large hostel. Well located for bus to the airport
    • I was expecting more for the price. It is dark, no windows, there are no rooms just one big area. The beds are separated in blocks to give some privacy, all beds have curtains. They have a leather like cover on pillows and mattresses that are little uncomfortable. There is no kitchen just a microwave. It was not bad but was not a pleasant stay either.

    • Wonderful owner, really lovely guy able to help you with almost anything. Free coffee ?
    • Clean, practical for pilgrims, well equipped (especially the kitchen) and kind staff. I would recommend it!
    • My stay was on July 24, 2018. – As a pilgrim you are received in a very pleasant way. The owner of this inn is dedicated to his guests. Is ready for them when they need something and also there are no strict times when the door closes. You will receive a code so that you have more freedom to view Santiago. The atmosphere of the inn is good; has a spacious kitchen, washing machine, dryer and sufficient showers; man and woman separately. This address is definitely worth repeating. Maybe a bit further from the center, but the price is more than worth it; good service, clean beds and plumbing.
    • I’ve been here for one night. The friendly owner opened the door and immediately started small talking. Again, very friendly. He does speak English. The sleeping room(s) are getting shared with about 14-16 people. A big plus: Every bed has its own two sockets for charging your phones and power banks. That can be counted as a luxurious feature, thinking of a hostel. There is a kitchen you are free to use. . A washing machine and a dryer are usable, each for 4€. You also have the possibility of washing by hand.
I really liked to stay here for tonight.
