    • Nothing! It was the uncomfortable! Ot was dirty! They don’t have a responsibility, 2 guys who have booked this hostel and payed about it was refused by staff, u know why? Because they don’t have any place in this hostel! My advice – never use it !
    • Location was great and the price was a steal but not worth the hassle of overcrowding, noise and lack of facilities.
    • Actually I didnt like anything except for the air conditioner in the room
    • Lisa was very friendly and smart. She answered my phone and messaged me the details how to get in as I arrived too late. She didn’t speak English, but she is clever enough to note down the frequently asked questions in English and German and used that as her means to communicate. She also answered all my questions in my limited Spanish. The bathrooms were very clean and big.
    • The place is good for the price you pay! The internet works great, and is located near to Templo de Debod

    • I left that on the bar wall.
The hostel is very nice, for a party hostel it is very well kept and doing nightly bar games and pub crawls are a blast if you like to go dancing.

    Reviews:

    • Enjoyed my last couple of days in Europe thanks to the lovely staff. The facilities were also clean and comfortable.
    • Super central location right next to Plaza Mayor. Breakfast is AMAZING and costs only 4 EURO. A bit more (like $5-6 per night) than our other stays but is well worth the money. The bed actually has 2 super comfortable pillows and there is air condition in room. Cute little balcony w/ great view. All in all, only non-stuffy stay that I had and would definitely recommend to anyone. There is free tapas and drinks every night too. Though I didn’t have a chance to try as I was seriously jet legged, but it sounds like a great opportunity to get to know people and fun though.
    • The Hat Madrid is one of the renowned hostels in Madrid. And it truly deserves its little fame. It is a great hostel with a stylish decoration. The location is good, 5 minutes on foot to the center. Another highlight is the terrace, with a wonderful view. The breakfast was a real treat with a rich variety. All in all, a perfect choice for a stay in Madrid.
    • It’s a perfect hostel. Everything is well organized. I love the walking tour and crawl pub. Enjoy the days in Madrid. It’s a pity I didn’t have dinner in the rooftop. I will definitely be back there.
    • Wow, where to start… The staff here are really cool! Genuinely helpful and friendly. The rooftop patio is fantastic, though the weather was a bit chilly during my stay. They are happy to sell you a drink at the bar, but if you have your own wine they will open it for you and provide glasses. Many other hostels are really uptight about this for some reason! The Hat also has a great hangout area in the basement (cave) that is available for late night hangouts. The rooms are good, beds, bathrooms, food, drink, etc. I made some amazing friends here!

    • Great hostel, awesome people, good atmosphere and upbeat. Also fantastic location close to everything!
    • This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in Europe so far: no doubt! It began from a wonderful check-in experience with the amazing staff and volunteers at the hostel who cared about me so much and introduced the city (using ppt slides!). The free dinner and morning snacks every day at the hostel were of good quality, and the nights out were super fun with the volunteers at the hostel (who also party with the travellers) and other travellers. They also organize daily tours to different parts of the city (I joined a sunset tour to the temple and another day an afternoon walk to a park). My room and the shower rooms were spacious and very big. The bathrooms were unbelievably clean (they actually clean them 3 times a day wow!). I would come back if i am in Madrid again!
    • Clean, good price , nice location and a fun place to stay.
    • Great location, friendly staff, free dinner, clean, structure of the hostel itself is very well thought.
    • Nice stuff-they feed you, entertain you and you get the whole bed for yourself 🙂
