- The welcome & home cooking were really great & Dan & Lauren couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. The bedroom was lovely with a really comfortable bed! We just had to be patient with the plumbing (it took a long time for hot water to come through to the shower) but that’s par for the course in an historically listed house with lots of charm!
- The owners Lauren and Daniel were super sweet and accommodating. Loved the old charm of the Bed and breakfast and the breakfast was outstanding. Lauren is an amazing cook!! Everything was delicious! My husband was quite sad when we couldn’t stay for breakfast the last day we were there.
- We would recommend anyone to stay here, its slightly outside of the quarter but close enough! Lauren and Daniel are amazing and so sweet. Homemade breakfast everyday was to die for and they even offered us grab bags when we had an early flight!

- Joe and Federico were very pleasant, helpful and informative. Very enjoyable stay!
- Joe and Federico were great hosts, we really enjoyed our stay with them! The location is spectacular if you want to be by cool spots in the Marigny — we were a few blocks from most of our nightlife choices.
- Good continental breakfast with lots of options. Nice quiet neighborhood. You do have to walk about 20 minutes to the French Quarter, but then you can hop on the Streetcar system that will take you all over.
- Definite personality to the blue room, and loved the smell of the laundry detergent used. Just feels right at home. Did not have time for the hot tub but so happy the option was there. Room has its own AC unit which was much appreciated. Breakfast was kept out later than your typical hotel, which is great when you’re dragging yourself in at 2am. Very quiet for B&B! Updated bathroom has plenty of storage, just an unusual layout. Joe and Federico were so welcoming and obliging, thank you so much for accommodating us!
- Joe is an ideal host nothing was too much trouble. He has a beautiful old house and provides a very delicious breakfast.

- Rita was just an amazing host, so kind and attentive with her guests. I just loved her “see food” policy: we had access to the kitchen and lovely snacks at any time, which is great when you get in late or want to have a late breakfast. We had free drinks coupons to really nice cafes like the spotted cat where the atmosphere and music were just great. The house is beautiful and the location is just perfect. Our room was very clean, warm and comfortable. Parking was free which was a big plus in New Orleans. I recommend this place 100%! We will definitely be back.
- Walking distance to many restaurants, tourist areas and public transportation. Lovely rooms. Rita, our hostess, was helpful and recommended restaurants and activities.
- Rita is so friendly and helpful with any questions you may have about New Orleans. She also makes great suggestions for how to travel to locations, places to eat, and things to do. The house is 150 years old and gorgeous. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The bedrooms are beautiful and well decorated. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Even my husband, who does not tend to sleep well away from home, slept well the whole trip. Breakfast was easy, good, and the pastries she receives each morning are tasty. It is located in a wonderful location on Frenchman Street where there are several places to get some food, drinks, and listen to great music. There is also a little market with several vendors. It is close enough to walk to Cafe Du Monde, all through the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the trolley car, etc. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.
- The bed was amazing, as were the pillows (would love to find out the brand!). I used the jacuzzi tub, which was great. THe overall style of the room (the largest in the house) was perfect for NOLA. Overall, the house was really beautiful, and the perfect location to music, bars, the trolley, etc. . I’ll never stay anywhere other than Marigny again on a trip to NOLA. We also made use of the drink tickets to the Spotted Cat, which was a nice touch. Rita was an excellent host, so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!
- The B&B is absolutely stunning and the host were so kind and offered up anything we needed. The round the clock snacks were an added bonus. And, the location is perfect.

- Our hosts Mary and Hugh were amazing, very friendly and helpful. The B&B was perfectly situated for our stay during Mardi Gras; close enough to walk everywhere, but also in a quieter residential area, so we had a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was very tasty with fresh pastries and there were always snacks and drinks available during the day.
The owners want you to have a good time. They have all kinds of recommendations.
They also responded very quickly to a problem we had in our shower. We reported it, and it was fixed by the time we got back to our room.
The B&B is on a main street, but the room we had was very quiet.
Bring your walking shoes and have a great time.
- Beds were fine and comfy. Breakfast was good. Good location.
- I will be returning to the banana courtyard. It is as delightful a bed and breakfast as I can imagine. It is a very homely place. As such check in/out is slower than at a motel 8. But if you want a super efficient unpersonal hotel then go somewhere else. They greet you with a beer or coffee and sit down with you to check-in. They have a specific system of doing things; locking doors behind you with a key, Returning the keys and being shown out. It is as much a museum as it is a bed and breakfast.the location is also very prime. Just a couple blocks from bourbon street.
- Unique and amazing place!! Hosts are incredible and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

- Wow, Betsy and Bill were so friendly and helpful, it really made things great. Amazing delicious breakfast every morning, with fresh baked goods. We had the suite upstairs, which was very spacious. I couldn’t recommend more strongly, everything including the local was great for us.
- The ambience was amazing. Charming and very spacious.
- We really enjoyed our stay at Chez Palmiers. The room was so clean and cozy. Though it was very cold while we stayed in New Orleans, the room was warm throughout the nights. It is close to Frenchmen Street where there are many bars with live music. I would highly recommend my friends and others to stay here.
- Everything was perfect. The location is excelent, near frenchment street but far enough of all the crazyness in bourbon street. The room had a lot of character and was very confortable. We had all the little details we could ask. The european breakfast was spot on, and our host Betsy was what you can hope for. Very warmful and helpful. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.
