The host was amazing!! He had turned up the heat in my room before I even got there so the room would be nice and warm for me! He even made me a goodie bag to go on my check-out morning with snacks for my long drive back to Montreal!
The room had a great view and was very cozy!! I would definitely go back there again!! 🙂

- I am from the hotel industry myself so kind of hard to explain but I loved the fact that I was left alone and didn’t feel the Presure on me to have to be nice all the time the very friendly staff of this establishment are super tuned into people’s likes and dislikes and they read me from the outset that I wanted to be left alone which is what they did well done guys 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for that.

- This was a bad experience. The place is not zoned for a B&B. The final bill showed I stayed at a Hilton. There is no breakfast other than make you own pot of coffee with cheap powered creamer. There was no heat in the room at night. The owner was only present from 7 to 8am and 4 -7pm. Our room did not get serviced every day. We used the same towels for 4 days. It was not worth the steep price we paid. No recommendation from us.
- Bedroom with adjacent sofa area was extremely comfortable and provided space making my stay very pleasant. Having the bathroom right next door with a large shower was also comfortable. Loved the stained glass and decor of the house.
- The structure has been carefully restored. The owner proudly says the accommodations are inexpensive in spite of that.
- I love the place and look forward to go back. Overall the place was quiet, clean and the staff are friendly/professional. I didn’t get the room that I booked because of my credit card. That’s why I rated 1/4 for the room facilities. It was a walking distance to the stores and restaurant for us. Parking is an issue in Brooklyn. I mentioned it for those of us who have never been to Brooklyn.
- Enjoyed my stay…Michelle is very nice and accommodating and besides the creeky stairwell it’s a great place to stay while visiting Brooklyn.

- The owner and her son were very friendly and so very helpful. Lovely people
- Room so small only held twin bed less than half a bed of floor space
- Fairly clean, good location, felt safe, very nice employee.
- We may have had the best room in the place, great view, overlooking the street action but not noisy. The staff were lovely and the shared bathroom was not too inconvenient. - I loved the little eating area and variety of food. The staff was amazing answered all my questions and assisted me with everything I needed. Even had extra umbrellas by the door incase you needed which was a extra bonus!! I liked how the pictures online are exactly what you are going to get no mystery or trying to trick you, but some of the rooms are small so ask if you need a room with a little more space. I emailed the property and they answered any of my questions quickly. Overall I would definitely come to stay again in the future.
- The bed was very comfortable, shower OK, good space in the room.
- A very spacious and well decorated room. I liked it at lot.
- Great little hotel in a perfect location for Chelsea Market and the High Line. The breakfast is supplied and even some parts of it are homemade which is a lovely touch. Staff were terrific and very friendly. We stayed on the ground floor so stairs weren’t an issue for us, but did get some noise from the common area filtering through to our room. I imagine this would only be an issue if you want a sleep in, which we didn’t need as we were out exploring early.
- I was surprised at how personal the hotel was. We had to walk up 5 flights of stairs but the room was huge by NYC standards. We didn’t have hot water on Sat nite which was a drag but they fixed it for Sunday AM. The snacks available are a nice addition. Though the breakfast could be better. Overall, I’d stay there again. Really convenient to the subway.
